“Storify Yourself to create togetherness!” is a training that will be held in Dobrinishte, Bulgaria from 1st to 9th of July 2021. Its aim is to increase the quality and effectiveness of youth work by improving the skills of youth workers in the implementation of an innovative complex of instruments for personal development in their work with young people with diverse profiles. It is a seven-day training course that includes methods from informal education, experimental learning, improv theatre, coaching practice. The activities are aimed toward deep personal development which will impact the professional one as well. As a participant you must be ready for challenges, prepared and equipped for mountain adventures, including trekking on easy routes. The experience will turn the viewpoint around which always makes for great stories. Storytelling is the tool that will be taught as a powerful way to inspire and impact.
ExSport Us is an opportunity in Amarante, Portugal between 4th and 10th of August 2021. It addresses the phenomenon of bullying among young people. It focuses on using nonformal education and sport as tools of inclusive education in order to promote social inclusion. The aim is to provide a framework to understand, prevent and fight bullying behaviours among young people, through a programme that combines non-formal education, sport and education through sport strategies to prevent and create a safe learning environment and by learning strategies to detect, act and communicate bullying cases.
“Art of Creative Thinking” is a mobility of youth workers from 14th to 21st of August 2021 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It will deal with one of the most valued skills of the future – creative thinking and how it is born and developed in the young people. This is one of the new skills employers are looking for and it is hardly created by the formal educational system. It will include 7 full working days of activities, with the primary focus on skills and knowledge of the future with a specific focus on creative thinking, understanding on how creative thinking is created and further developed in young people, the industrial revolution 4.0, EU policies and priorities in the field of empowering young people and how sport can contribute to the development of creative thinking. It will follow non-formal education approach: a combination of different creative and interactive methods: theoretical inputs, round table, Compass/Salto sessions, individual/group activities, exercises, work on examples in a small group, case studies, real attempts and using sport as an educational tool for acquiring skills and knowledge.
