DESCRIPTION

his project addresses the topic of social inclusion of minority groups through the promotion of traditional games. The project aims at organizing local initiatives centred around the practice of traditional games to fulfill the dual purpose of intercultural and intergenerational dialogue. Moreover, this project will provide training opportunities for youth workers and sport coaches from diverse backgrounds to learn various traditional games.

Objectives

  • Create the space and the material for intercultural and intergenerational dialogue in local communities.
  • Create local initiatives in order to integrate different minorities groups locally.
  • Create a network of partner organizations and exchange of good practices on social inclusion through sport and traditional games.
  • Create a manual for traditional games that can be used by trainers, coaches, youth workers and educators.
