It’s been now more than 2 years that the project ExSport Us was presented to the Erasmus Plus program. We believed that 𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑛𝑜𝑛-𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑙 𝑒𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 could be used as tools for bullying prevention. The objectives were:

  • Promoting social inclusion because sustainable bullying prevention is connected to and predicated upon the promotion of equity and inclusion.
  • Promoting quality youth work by developing learning formats targeted at youth operators plus enabling the achievement of knowledge, skills, and competences through an integrated approach of non-formal education and sport.
Different experts from the partner organizations L’ORMAinternational Champions Factory Casa da Juventude de Amarante have worked hard to research and design the best training format for educators about this topic. This training course was then tested in Portugal during the summer, with inspiring results.
The photos displayed correspond to the first of many events, which took place in the I.I.S. Giuseppe Luigi Lagrange in Milan (Italy). These teenagers experienced the value of communication and cooperation above competition and finished the day by presenting their own “against bullying” scenes.
Stay updated in the upcoming weeks for the final transnational meeting of the project, which will also take place in Milan.
