DESCRIPTION
“Track – Map – Clean” is an Erasmus+ project addressing environmental challenges caused by improper waste disposal. By combining education, civic engagement, and technology, the project empowers young people and youth workers to develop green skills, raise awareness about environmental issues, and take action to protect their communities.
The project promotes the use of two key European competence frameworks — DigComp (Digital Competence) and GreenComp (Sustainability Competence) — equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to foster sustainability through digital innovation.
Through a mix of training, digital tools, and collaborative activities, Track – Map – Clean inspires young people to become active citizens who contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable world.
- Key Results
A multilingual Guide on Digitalization for Environmental Protection, featuring best practices and training plans to help youth workers develop and teach green skills. - An interactive Track – Map – Clean APP, enabling users to identify, mark, and report polluted areas, which can then be addressed by NGOs, individuals, or public bodies.
Implemented by a consortium of organisations from across Europe, the project demonstrates how education and technology can come together to strengthen civic participation and inspire practical, local action for the environment.
