FIT FOR KIDS: the pilot program in Italy

In June 2023, the 2022-2023 FIT FOR KIDS program in Italy came to a close.

In Dalmine, 20 families had the opportunity to participate in a free educational program that lasted for six months. The program aimed to provide free physical activities for children and families.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers who participated in the program with us, and a special acknowledgment to Sofia for successfully leading the project.

This initiative is part of the European project FIT FOR KIDS EUROPE, which spanned 42 months and involved organizations from Denmark, Portugal, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Germany. Apart from the practical activities for families, the project also includes a digital platform, www.fitforkids.com, which aims to become a reference point for the well-being of the entire family. It offers content and services to improve the health of both children and parents.
