Sapevi che milioni di bambini nell’Unione europea sono in sovrappeso a causa della mancanza di esercizio fisico e di cattive abitudini alimentari? L’obesità infantile è una delle sfide più gravi per la salute pubblica del 21 ° secolo poiché il numero di bambini obesi è aumentato a un ritmo allarmante.
È probabile che i bambini in sovrappeso e obesi rimangano obesi nell’età adulta e hanno maggiori probabilità di sviluppare malattie come malattie cardiovascolari o diabete.
Il programma Fit For Kids è stato sviluppato in Danimarca più di dieci anni fa per combattere l’obesità infantile e aumentare la salute generale della famiglia. Offre un programma di stile di vita gratuito e si compone di cinque pilastri:
Formazione per bambini e genitori;
Guida nutrizionale a casa;
Parental coaching;
Eventi sociali;
Programma motivazionale.
Anni fa, è stato lanciato con successo da L’Orma sia a Torino che a Milano con l’aiuto di To – Centro Servizi Volontariato, e ora siamo entusiasti di vedere il progetto espandersi in altri paesi. Questa grande partnership di collaborazione Erasmus + si basa sul progetto precedente ed è una continuazione e un ulteriore sviluppo del progetto europeo FitForKids. [/ Vc_column_text]
Il kick-off meeting di questo progetto si è tenuto a febbraio 2020 a Milano ospitato da L’Orma dove abbiamo avuto il piacere di discutere il progetto e le attività pianificate con le nostre organizzazioni partner:
FitForKids (Danimarca);
Aventura Marão Clube (Portogallo);
IAAD – İstanbul Avrupa Araştırmaları Derneği (Turchia);
IKOS – Istanbul Culture and Sport Association (Turchia).
L’obiettivo principale di questo progetto è aumentare il numero di potenziali partner che sono consapevoli della possibilità di partnership di FitforKids, quindi raggiungere più persone la cui vita può essere trasformata grazie a questo progetto scientificamente approvato. Siamo lieti di dare il benvenuto a bordo e di condividere la nostra esperienza con due organizzazioni turche interessate all’implementazione del progetto.
