EUSport LAB 2026: Beyond Projects. Building Alliances.

What if a European event was not only a place to talk about projects, but a place to start building what comes next?

This is the idea behind the 6th edition of EUSport LAB, taking place in Milan on 3–4 December 2026.

Over two days, around 80 professionals and organisations from across Europe will come together to share experiences, discover initiatives, meet new people and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

And this year, one idea will connect the entire event:

Beyond Projects. Building Alliances for Long-term Impact.

Why alliances?

European projects are extraordinary opportunities for cooperation.

For months or years, organisations from different countries work together, exchange knowledge, develop methodologies and build relationships.

But eventually every project reaches its end date.

At EUSport LAB 2026, we want to focus on what can happen afterwards.

Can a partnership continue beyond a single project?

Can an idea developed in one country be replicated somewhere else?

Can organisations that discover they share the same challenges start working together on something new?

Can the relationships created through European cooperation become long-term alliances?

We believe they can.

And EUSport LAB is designed to create the space for those conversations to happen.

Not just another conference

EUSport LAB has never been designed as a traditional conference.

Of course, there will be presentations and opportunities to learn from projects and experiences developed across Europe.

But the most important part of the event may happen between the sessions.

A conversation during lunch.

Someone you meet at the Project Fair.

An organisation sitting next to you during an Alliance Table.

An idea discussed over coffee that becomes a project six months later.

This is why the programme of EUSport LAB 2026 combines different formats designed not only to share knowledge, but also to connect people.

Stories of Impact will explore experiences in areas such as education through movement, community development through sport, leadership and representation, and the transformation of projects into longer-term initiatives.

The Project Fair will allow participating organisations to showcase their projects and use them as a starting point for conversations with other participants.

And through the Alliance Tables, organisations will meet around shared areas of interest to exchange ideas, identify common priorities and explore possible future collaborations.

80 participants. Countless conversations.

There is a reason why EUSport LAB is limited to around 80 participants.

We want it to remain a place where people can actually meet each other.

Where conversations can continue throughout the two days.

Where participants are not simply part of an audience, but part of the event itself.

This smaller and more interactive format is an important part of what EUSport LAB is becoming: a meeting point for organisations and professionals working in sport, education, youth, inclusion, social innovation and international cooperation.

And interest in this year’s edition is already growing.

We are getting close to the maximum number of participants.

Registrations close on 10 November — or when we reach capacity

Participation in EUSport LAB 2026 is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.

Officially, registrations will remain open until 10 November 2026.

However, because the event is limited to around 80 participants, registrations may close earlier if all available places are filled.

If you are considering joining us in Milan, we therefore encourage you not to wait until the deadline.

Come with a project to share.

Come with an idea you would like to develop.

Come looking for new partners.

Or simply come ready to meet organisations working on challenges similar to yours.

Because the next project may start with a funding call.

But the next alliance may start with a conversation in Milan.
