DISCOVER MILAN: Inclusive OrientWalking Experience
EUSportLAB 2025 – From Projects to Impact | Morning Session

Date: Thursday, 4 December 2025
Meeting Point: Piazza dei Mercanti, Milan
Time: 9:30 – 12:30
Duration: Approximately 2 hours (6 km walking route)
Organised by: L’ORMA SSD a r.l.,

Description

Before the afternoon conference “Beyond the Erasmus Plus Projects: Building a Healthier and More Active Europe”, participants will take part in an engaging and inclusive morning activity in the heart of Milan.

The Inclusive OrientWalking Experience is a non-competitive urban walk designed to promote movement, discovery, and connection in a simple yet meaningful way. Through a shared journey across the streets of Milan, participants will experience how physical activity can be both accessible and inclusive, inviting everyone — regardless of age or fitness level — to move, explore, and enjoy the city together.

Participants will join the experience in small teams of 2 to 4 people, setting out to discover some of the city’s most iconic and hidden corners following a dedicated walking map.

It’s not about speed, but about curiosity, collaboration, and connection — with yourself, your team, and the city.
Ultimately, this urban walk anticipates the spirit of the afternoon conference, introducing its key themes — health, inclusion, sustainability, and innovation through sport — not through speeches, but through lived experience: one step at a time, together, in motion.

How It Works

Participants will be divided into mixed teams (approx. 4–6 people) and will receive a map of central Milan with checkpoints to reach.

Teams will have 2 hours to reach as many checkpoints as possible and answer the associated questions correctly.
Running is not allowed — it’s a walking experience meant to be enjoyed at your own pace.

Participation

The activity is free of charge and open to everyone who wishes to take part in this experience.
Participation takes place in teams of 2 to 4 people — each team must register through a single group registration form, indicating the team name and the names of all members.
Please complete the registration form available no later than 16 November 2025.

In European cooperation, we tend to follow a very familiar sequence. A funding opportunity appears. An idea starts taking shape. Potential partners are identified. A consortium is built. The proposal is submitted. And, if everything goes well, a project begins. There is nothing wrong with this process. It is how thousands of valuable European projects […]
