We are pleased to announce you a New call on capacity building in the field of Youth, (Erasmus + program) to support the international cooperation and policy dialogue in the field of youth and non-formal learning, as a driver of sustainable socio-economic development and well-being of youth organisations and young people.
Which are the eligible countries? All the partners from the European Union countries are eligible, as well as third countries from the regions of the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro), and South Mediterranean countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia).
How many partners? The call asks for the involvement of a minimum of 2 organisation from 2 different Programme countries and 2 organisations from at least 1 eligible Partner country.
What should I focus my proposal on? Your project should embrace topics such as the political participation and dialogue with decision-makers, the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, the promotion of democracy, rule of law and values, actions to foster the empowerment/engagement /employability of young people, actions directed to promote peace and post-conflict reconciliation, the environment and fight against climate change, the anti-discrimination and gender equality and the digital and entrepreneurial skills.
In this framwork, the Commission will value the participants who incorporate the horizontal Erasmus + priorities, which are: Environmental sustainability, Common values, Civic engagement and participation, Digital dimension and Inclusion and Diversity.
Which type of actions should I carry out? They recommend you to design and implement activities such as; tools and methods for the socio-professional development of youth workers and trainers, the development of non-formal learning methods (especially those promoting the acquisition/improvement of competences, including media literacy skills, the development of new forms of practical training schemes and simulation of real life cases in society), the development of new forms of youth work (notably strategic use of open and flexible learning, virtual cooperation, open educational resources) and the organisation of events/seminars/workshops/exchange of good practice for cooperation, networking, awareness-raising and peer-learning purposes.
When is the deadline? Remember to submit your project before the 1st July at 17:00 (Brussels time).
