“GameChangers” is an Erasmus+ Youth project designed to empower young volunteers and amateur athletes by fostering social entrepreneurship through sport. It equips young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to design and launch social initiatives that address community needs through the transformative power of sport.
Recognising that volunteering and sports help build leadership, teamwork, and innovation, the project promotes volunteering as a pathway to develop entrepreneurial competencies and encourages youth to create social enterprises rooted in sports and social inclusion. It also strengthens the capacity of youth sports organisations to support these young entrepreneurs and raises awareness about the potential of social entrepreneurship for sustainable development.
GameChangers offers innovative tools, methods, and opportunities to its target groups — young people aged 18–30, particularly volunteers, amateur athletes, youth workers, and sports clubs — combining online and offline activities, mentorship, and experiential learning.
Key Deliverables:
Through these activities, GameChangers not only empowers young people to become change-makers in their communities but also demonstrates how sport and volunteering can drive social innovation and strengthen civic engagement. The project brings together organisations from Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Greece, Germany, Poland, and Estonia, combining expertise in youth work, sport, entrepreneurship, and education to create a lasting, positive impact across Europe.
